Nancy Welke and her husband, Den, were getting ready to pull the horses out of the stables when they heard a loud crash in the yard.

The couple from Michigan or the US went to see what caused the noise, and found an object that looked like a satellite that continued to emit an electronic buzz.

It was written “Samsung Space Selfie,” and, according to the South Korean company, was laid out to capture images of our planet in the background.

Samsung issued a statement saying the facility “had made a gentle descent into a residential area that had been urgently selected due to deteriorating weather conditions over the US”.

The company says it had no injuries and regrets the inconvenience it has caused.
