A scary episode has taken place this weekend in the Premier League clash between Tottenham and Everton as South Korea’s Son Son broke his leg after an interference with Andre Gomes.

It was at this very moment that the Korean striker suffered very badly as he burst into tears directly after injuring his opponent.

For this interference, Son was sent a red card by the referee, with Tottenham appealing the decision as it was not a dangerous interference, and Gomez suffered a fracture after colliding with other players.

Today the English Football Federation has accepted the “Spurs” appeal for the red card and pardoned the striker for the upcoming match. That way the 27-year-old can be activated at the weekend, when Tottenham play Sheffield United.
