Another doctor lost his life to the coronavirus.

Nazmi Xhaferri, a doctor at Gramsh hospital, lost the battle with COVID.

The sad news was given by the directorate of Gramsh hospital through a post on “facebook”.

Facebook Message:

Dear citizen!

With deep sorrow we announce the loss of life of one of the exemplary employees of Gramsh Hospital, Mr. Nazmi Xhaferri, as a result of infection with the COVID-19 virus on duty.

The deceased became the first (and hopefully the last) hero of the Gramsh Hospital staff, who have selflessly since the beginning of this war been ready every day for this pandemic.

Family members, colleagues and loved ones today convey a man with more values and contribution to our society, not forgetting the sacrifices, work and kindness he has conveyed between them.

Let this serve as his last act as a health worker directing citizens to show the care needed to avoid COVID-19 infection as the consequences are unimaginable.

Thank you for everything!

Rest in peace!
