A fire broke out this morning in a hospital in western India, where 8 coronavirus patients lost their lives as a result of the fire.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire immediately half an hour after the onset of inflammation, and yet 8 patients with coronavirus hospitalized in this hospital, could not survive.

Thirty-five more patients were transferred to other hospitals to continue medical treatment.
Fires are common in buildings in India due to poor safety standards without smoke detectors and without fire alarm systems.
