Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli recently faced new bribery charges and decided to plead not guilty.
Apparently Lori was considering pleading guilty, but her husband convinced her otherwise.
I know, I know, it feels like it’s been 24385 years since news of the college admissions scandal first broke and we all just want to know what’s going to happen already, but since we have some time until Lori Loughlin’s trial, all I can do for now is give you an update on what’s going on with her case.

ICYMI, Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were hit with an additional charge a couple of weeks ago, and now in addition to facing charges for money laundering and fraud, they’re also being accused of bribery. Apparently this time around Lori was interested in pleading guilty (she plead not guilty to the other two charges), and perhaps that’s because her fellow college admissions scandal celeb Felicity Huffman only served less than two weeks in jail for her part in the scheme.

However, Lori ended up pleading not guilty, and it looks like that’s because of her husband. A source shared with Us, “Lori turned the corner and backed out of considering a guilty plea due to her husband’s insistence. She had been talking to her lawyers about it, but her friends and family were encouraging her to pursue a plea deal. She’s only listening to Mossimo though.”

So that means that Lori and Mossimo are now facing around 50 years in prison if found guilty. And if you’re wondering if things could get any worse, well, according to a legal expert, Lori and Mossimo’s daughters Olivia and Bella could also theoretically be charged as defendants in the case. Yikes!
