The macabre murder of a young Frenchman in Croatia in April this year is also being investigated in Albania.
The Tirana Prosecutor’s Office is verifying the contacts of 24-year-old Eliot Charlet in Albania after it resulted from the French investigation that there were contacts related to the Albanian telephone antennas.
Judicial Police Officers have been engaged to verify these data, who, among other things, will verify a number of persons who entered and left Albania on dates close to the murder, which is still considered a mystery to the French and Croatian authorities.
The data collected by the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office will then be sent back to the French authorities by letter.
After the murder of the 24-year-old. Croatian media at the time cast doubt that the event could have been perpetrated by migrant traffickers because of the area where the body was found.
However suspicions that the murder could have been committed in another place and the massacred body had been dumped there, have so far made the murder considered a mystery.
