Father and grandmother of 10-year-old face prison over abusive social media videos

Berat/ 12 prill 2025 – Babai dhe gjyshja detyruan të miturin të publikonte video banale në rrjet: Prokuroria kërkon 3 dhe 2 vite burg

Prokuroria e Beratit ka kërkuar dënimin me 3 vite burg për babain e një 10-vjeçari dhe 2 vite për gjyshen e tij, pasi dyshohet se e kanë detyruar fëmijën të publikojë video me përmbajtje banale në rrjetet sociale “TikTok” dhe “YouTube”.

Të pandehurit, Armando Kumaraku dhe Natasha Rombula, janë akuzuar për veprën penale “keqtrajtimi i të miturit” në bashkëpunim, parashikuar nga nenet 124/b/2 dhe 25 të Kodit Penal. Prokuroria kërkon gjithashtu që ndaj Kumarakut të jepet masa plotësuese e humbjes së përgjegjësisë prindërore.

Sipas organit të akuzës, babai dhe gjyshja e kanë keqtrajtuar fëmijën duke e detyruar të përdorë fjalor banal në video që më pas janë publikuar në rrjetet sociale, e madje e kanë kërcënuar dhe ushtruar presion të vazhdueshëm ndaj tij. I mituri ka qenë gjithashtu i ekspozuar në mënyrë të papërshtatshme ndaj lëndëve narkotike dhe ndaj një gjuhe të dhunshme.

Ekspertiza mjeko-ligjore ka konfirmuar se sjellja e të pandehurve ka ndikuar në zhvillimin emocional dhe psikologjik të fëmijës, duke sjellë pasoja që lidhen me çrregullime të personalitetit dhe gjendje të rënduar emocionale.

Në përfundim të hetimeve, Prokuroria e Beratit deklaroi se provat janë të mjaftueshme për të vërtetuar fajësinë e të pandehurve dhe kërkoi nga Gjykata e Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm të Beratit shpalljen e tyre fajtorë dhe dënimin sipas kërkesave të parashtruara.

Berat, April 12, 2025 – The Prosecutor’s Office of Berat has requested 3 and 2 years in prison, respectively, for the father and grandmother of a 10-year-old child whose videos using offensive language were made public on social media.

The prosecution has asked the court to find the defendant Armando Kumaraku guilty and sentence him to 3 years in prison, along with the additional punishment of revoking his parental rights.

As for the child’s grandmother, Natasha Rombula, the prosecution has requested a 2-year prison sentence.

Prosecution’s statement:
The defendants, a mother and her son, mistreated the minor by forcing him to record and post vulgar videos on social media platforms such as YouTube and TikTok. They communicated with the child using abusive language and pressured him into doing the same.

During the evaluation session, it was determined that the minor had been repeatedly threatened and felt under pressure from both his father and grandmother. He was abusively exposed on social media with violent language and degrading expressions, which are not suitable for a child his age.

Moreover, the child was reportedly exposed to narcotic substances, a highly unacceptable and dangerous situation for someone of his age.

The father and grandmother encouraged the child to participate in online content creation without his consent, severely affecting his emotional state. The bullying, insults, and psychological pressure worsened the child’s mental well-being.

The investigation concluded that there is sufficient evidence that Armando Kumaraku and Natasha Rombula committed the criminal offense of “ill-treatment of minors”, as defined by Articles 124/b/2 and 25 of the Albanian Penal Code.

Their actions have led to both physical and psychological abuse of the child and forced him into behavior that has harmed his mental and physical development, reportedly causing symptoms of antisocial personality disorder.
